The order matters more than most people realise.
When we soft wash your home or building, we also clean the exterior of your windows, so you do not need a separate window cleaner. If you are working with another provider and their wash does not include the windows, the glass must be cleaned before any bug treatment is applied.
Here is why the sequence is so important: when we wash your home, spiders and other creepy crawlies scatter into tiny hiding places such as under eaves, behind joinery, inside vents, and around wall cavities.
Once the cobwebs are gone and the water dries, they quickly creep back out and start spinning fresh webs. Many spiders rebuild within just a few hours to a full day after we soft wash, depending on the species and conditions.
Because we wash first and immediately follow with our pro-grade bug treatment, spiders do not get a chance to rebuild their webs on freshly cleaned surfaces. The treatment bonds to the clean surfaces, creating an invisible barrier that stops them intheir tracks.
The treatment is sprayed on, including under and around solar panels. Over spray, run-off, or droplets can land on the panels or their frames, leaving residue or streaks that reduce efficiency. If the panels are cleaned first, they can become dirty again during the roof treatment, leading to wasted time, extra costs, and lower energy output.

Most water blasting companies only offer exterior bug treatments using off-the-shelf sprays applied with a knapsack or similar. (that used to be us untill we invested in traininng.) This can leave streaking and blotches on surfaces and usually only provides short-term knockdown, with exterior protection lasting a few weeks to three months.
