Your job is sceduled & countdown is on…

Here are few easy prep tips before we roll in and work our magic.

Get ready for radinat spaces.

Things to move or bring inside

If If you’re booked for a house wash, roof wash or roof treatment, please make sure there’s no washing on the line, it could get wet or bleached.

Please move shoes, doormats, and anything else you’d rather not get wet or lightened.

Windows can leak

If your windows are older (especially wooden ones), or if the seals are perishing, we recommend popping down some towels — just in case they let in a little water.

Pet babies and bug treatments

Got pets? Please keep them safe and snug indoors while we’re working.

Water blasters can be loud and a bit scary for your fur (or feathered) babies.

Same goes for bunnies, guinea pigs, and any other adorable residents.

Fur babies and bug treatments

If you’re booked for a bug treatment, the same pet precautions apply — keep your creatures comfy and out of the way.

Fish tanks or ponds?

Please cover them up.

Our treatments aren’t designed for aquatic life (no matter how cute your goldfish is).

Outside plants and furniture

If we’re washing your decks, paths or concrete, please shift any outdoor furniture or pot plants so we can get to every spot.

Can’t move it? Let us know — your friendly Blast Away Guy might be able to lend a hand

Are you on tank water?

A friendly reminder that if you are on tank water, please disconnect the tank prior to any roof washes or treatments. If you are unable to do this yourself please let us know as we are happy to do it for you and will just need to check a few things with you first.

How’s your water pressure?

Low water pressure? It can really slow us down — especially if two of our team are on site. Let us know in advance if your pressure isn’t great. We might be able to bring water pumps to help things flow better.

If we arrive and the pressure’s too low without warning, it can throw off our whole day. We may need to charge extra or reschedule, but we’ll always check with you first.

Not sure about your water pressure? Do a quick test:

1. Grab a bucket (note its size in litres).

2. Turn your outside tap on full.

3. Time how long it takes to fill the bucket.

Here’s how to tell if your pressure is low:

If it takes longer than 30 seconds to fill a 10-litre

bucket, your water pressure isn’t ideal.

Please let us know.

Use this guide to check your pressure:

10-litre bucket filled in 30 seconds or less = good pressure

10-litre bucket filled in 30–45 seconds = borderline pressure

10-litre bucket takes longer than 45 seconds = low pressure — please let us know so we can prepare.

Does your water require power to work?

If your home uses a powered water pump and won’t have electricity on the day of your booking, please give us clear instructions on how to access and operate the system.

No power = no water = no sparkle!
